Stay in the towers of the Walburgis church
In the two towers of the medieval Walburgis church in Arnhem, six apartments have been created — each with its own story, connected to the city and its surroundings.
Three of them reflect historical themes, such as the Battle of Arnhem, the Roman frontier and the time of Louis Bonaparte.
The other three focus on present-day Arnhem, from modern art and architecture to the Burgers’ Zoo.
Together, they offer a stay that combines comfort with identity and a sense of place.

Roman Fort Grand Suite
This stylish 4-person suite, which is also very suitable as a honeymoon suite, has two bedrooms, two bathrooms and a kitchen/living room.
The theme of this residence is a reference to the Roman castellum excavated in the Meinerswijk district of Arnhem, south of the Rhine. The fortress was built between 10 and 20, possibly in preparation for the last Germanic campaign of Germanicus Caesar in AD 16. It was part of the Limes, the northern border of the Roman Empire, which has been a UNESCO World Heritage Site since July 2021
In the room you will experience a beautiful mix of contemporary luxury and rich history with numerous references to the Roman past.

Rietveld Suite
This museum-like double room has a mezzanine with a bedroom and a bathroom, a kitchen/living room and a French balcony.
The interior of this apartment is an ode to Park Sonsbeek and the international art exhibition that takes place there every four years. The interior was created in collaboration with Museum Kröller-Müller in park De Hoge Veluwe.
In 1955, the artist Gerrit Rietveld achieved world fame during the 3rd edition of the exhibition by surprising the international art and construction world with his pavilion. Today, his creation adorns the museum’s beautiful gardens, where it houses sculptures. In this room you will not only find photo wallpaper with the Sonsbeek Park and Rietveld’s pavilion, but also furniture and a lamp designed by him.
